Low Histamine Diet

As someone who has had eczema since I was 9 and a mum who also had skin conditions and tried so many topical creams-prescribed or herbal and none have worked, only to realise that my eczema is caused by my poor gut and liver function.

There were many causes of eczema and for me i react to high histamine food, acidic foods like vinegar lemon and other citrus fruits. Going on this histamine journey is not easy as I am doing the elimination diet, there a lot of foods that I couldn’t eat.

But I do see progress in cutting triggering foods–my skin though still itchy but it’s not intense as before, less scratching also means less lesions and less traumatising while showering, i could feel my skin elasticity from just rough and paper dry.

It’s not overnight but you too could see progress if you take care andĀ  listen to your body.
